Milder side effects include dizziness, weakness, dry mouth, constipation, confusion, and sleepiness.

Is Serzone Still Being Marketed?

Serzone is still on the market, but in December 2001, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) told Bristol-Myers to include a “black box warning.”  On Serzone’s label, Bristol-Myers was to display a warning that some people may develop liver problems.  The FDA had uncovered cases of liver failure resulting in transplant surgery or death in some Serzone users.
