We stuck with LegalMatch because it works. LegalMatch delivers quality leads to make it worth staying with them.
LegalMatch is a good investment for what it brings in and what it costs us. We looked into the number of people that retained us and 22 of them are from LegalMatch. Of the 22 new clients, one of them resulted in a 20,000 dollar case. That was a good one. If I had to guess the total value of the cases we get from those 22 active clients would probably be $100,000.
I joined LegalMatch because I want to increase my bandwidth on lead sources. As long as they're productive, then the more lead sources, the better. LegalMatch is another form of getting the word out.
Being a LegalMatch member, we get really good cases or lead sources from time to time. We look at it as the law of large numbers. When multiple calls come in, you will eventually get some good ones. If we get a dozen calls, we can probably convert one client. We can’t put an exact percentage on it, but we’re happy with how it's all working out so we're satisfied. We need a lot of cases to fuel what we have.
We stuck with LegalMatch because it works. LegalMatch delivers quality leads to make it worth staying with them. As of November, we have the largest bankruptcy cases filed in Massachusetts.
For new LegalMatch members to make the most of their LegalMatch membership, my advice to them is to stay with LegalMatch. Don't get discouraged if the first few leads aren’t quality ones because that’s also the case with other lead sources.
You have to check the leads and give them your time. Offer kindness and compassion to whatever problem they have and you'll be surprised that over the course of a year or six months. You'll find that it's worth it.
Don't look at it on a day-by-day or month to month basis because it takes time to see the purpose. For instance, if I got 20 leads and 19 of them didn’t pan out but I got a case that is worth $20,000, then it is worth it.
Follow up everything even though the lead might appear that there's nothing that you can do to help. Just follow-up anyway and talk to people. This is because sometimes, even if you can't help them, you can talk to them.
They might refer your name to somebody else so you just don't know what you're going to find until you pick up the phone and call. We've been surprised with some cases we get.
There are cases that we initially thought we couldn’t help by just looking at it. But they turned out to be good cases after we spoke with the clients. Don't take anything that you read for granted. You should also call, inquire, and do a follow-up.
